Lemon Icing: the perfect addition to your Easter baked goods!

Icing is the icing on the cake (literally!) for many baked goods. Delicate, sweet, with a slightly sour touch of lemon, it is perfect for decorating muffins, cakes or Easter cupcakes. And best of all, its preparation is very simple.

Ingredients:

  • Juice of 1 lemon (freshly squeezed)
  • About 1.5 – 2 cups of powdered sugar (adjust the amount according to your preferred consistency)

Preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, combine freshly squeezed lemon juice with powdered sugar. Start with 1.5 cups of sugar and gradually add more until you reach the desired consistency. The frosting should be smooth and slightly sticky, but not too runny.
  2. Stir thoroughly until the powdered sugar is completely dissolved and there are no lumps. If the icing is too thin, add a little more powdered sugar. If too thick, add a few drops of lemon juice.
  3. When the icing reaches the perfect consistency, it is ready to use! You can pour it over Easter cupcakes, decorate muffins or cookies. Don’t forget to try it – it’s delicious!

Lemon glaze adds freshness and character to our baked goods. It’s a great way to bring some springtime flair to your Easter treats. Enjoy and have fun decorating!
